This pattern celebrates his sweet black nose! 

A beanie-style cap with option for short rows at the back and sides to cover your ears when the cold winds blow. Option included for a straight cuff with no short rows. Charcoal and natural cream colors were inspired by our mascot’s wooly coat, and the cabled rib echo Yarnold’s wavy, wooly locks.

Designer

Kathleen Buckley is the designer for this accessory. Kath, as we know her by, is our very own “in-house” knitting expert. Kath designs patterns and knits projects, many of which are inspired by Wyoming's beautiful landscapes.  

Specs

• 2 skeins of MMW 2-ply worsted Laramie in natural cream (1) and charcoal (1) (200 yds/3.5oz)  
• Suggested Needle Size: US 7 and US 5, or size to give gauge (needles not included)

Care Guide

• Hand wash by soaking in lukewarm water with a mild detergent
• Let the fabric soak for 15 min, gently squeeze out excess moisture
• Roll fabric between clean dry towels to remove moisture
• Lay flat and shape to air dry
